How It Works
Live video channels and streams flow through the PIXFIX™ workflow, directly into PIXFIX™ JiffyRec and the end-user application (on PCs or smartphones) for instant clipping.
1. Channel Processing – Multiple input channels are encoded and transcoded using PIXFIX™ Versa, Torq, MbIRD or 3rd party Encoder/Transcoder.
2. Multi-Channel Tiles – Users can view several streams at once, then select and record the ones they need.
3. Content Packaging & Streaming – PIXFIX™ Streama, integrated with PIXFIX™ JiffyRec, delivers streams and builds the clip infrastructure for end-user applications.
4. Clip Selection – Operators simply mark start and end points through the PIXFIX™ JiffyRec desktop or mobile app.
5. Clip Capture – PIXFIX™ JiffyRec pulls the selected segment, converts it into MP4, and stores it.
